Dilutions of Solutions Calculator
The dilution of substance refers to the process of making any solution weaker or less concentrated. It is a solution containing a relatively small quantity of solute as compared with the amount of solvent. This term is the opposite of 'concentrated'.
Volume After Dilution (V2) = [(V1 * M1) /M2]
Volume Of Solvent Added During Dilution (V) = ( V2 - V1 )
V1 = Volume of solution before dilution
V2 = Volume of solution after dilution
M1 = Concentration before dilution
M2 = Concentration after dilution
